Ellen Eliza Palmer nee Bennett was buried 19 Feb 1900 at Holy Trinity
Anglican Churchyard, Avonside along with her husband William PALMER. No
headstones. Millicent Hannah Palmer (1863- 1874) and William John Palmer
(1858-1938) two of their eleven children are also buried at Avonside.

Charles Allison was a passenger on the "Isabella Hercus" 1855 into
Lyttelton. A few of the passengers were sponsors for each others infants
during baptismals at the C of E Holy Trinity Church, Avonside. William was a
crew member and Ellen a general servant on the IH.
