Subject: [NZ] Boarding houses and Stables
I am seeking information about the running of stables and/or boarding
houses.
Could any one advise me whether there were any requirements to
register/record the keeping of large stables and/or boarding houses in NZ in
the late 1800's, early 1900's?
The stables picked up and delivered mail and goods around the area - so
would there be records of mail contracts any where?
Boarding houses were run by my McAneney/McAneaney family and also my Stuart
family in Tangowahine. The stables were run by the McAneney family in
Tangowahine and Dargaville.
Thanks, Rose.
