The Presbyterian Synod of Otago and Southland met in the First Church on
Wednesday. After hymns had been sung, and a sermon preached by the Rev. Mr
Johnstone, the retiring Moderator, on the text Gal. iv. 18, the Clerk
produced the following roll of ministers having charges within the bounds :-
