Lovely gift in the mail today, a book on Masterton Club 1877-1977. Chairman in 1877-1922. W. H. Beetham. Oh I am going to enjoy reading this book, and its brand new.. its come from a descendant of Edward Samuel who was the Headmaster of Carterton School in 1880s..

I find by having books, if I come across a name and know the person doing the same name, I let them know what the family did.. it all helps your research.
