Sorry no. I know of three main GIBSON families in the Marlborough area. My
mother's family comes from the George GIBSON family:

George (440) was baptized on 8 Apr 1832 in Bighton, near Alresford,
HAM, ENG. On 17 October 1856 George GIBSON (440) emigrated from Gravesend,
London, England on the John Masterman arriving at Nelson, NLN, NZ, on 8 Feb
1857. George GIBSON (440) moved from Nelson on the paddle steamer
"Lyttelton" arriving at Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ, after 8 Feb 1857. He
was a pit sawyer with Jermyn's Royal Family/Band in Mar 1857 at Big Bush,
Grovetown, MBH, NZ. George GIBSON (440) moved from New Zealand on the
"Queen of India" arriving back arriving at ENG circa 1862. He married Sarah
PACKMAN (443), daughter of William PACKMAN (441) and Mary Ann CHEAL (13582),
on 7 Oct 1862 St Mary's Church at Stone, KEN, ENG. On 8 December 1862
George GIBSON (440) and Sarah PACKMAN (443) emigrated from Downs, England on
the Electra arriving at Nelson, NLN, NZ, on 30 Mar 1863. George GIBSON
(440) and Sarah PACKMAN (443) moved on the "Lyttelton" to their new home
arriving at Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ, in Apr 1863. He was a sawyer with
"Jermyn's Royal Family" on 23 Oct 1863 at Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ. He
was a farmer on 25 Dec 1866 at Wairau Bush, MBH, NZ. He lived in Wairau
Bush, MBH, NZ, on 25 Dec 1866. He was a labourer on 21 Jan 1873 at Big
Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ. He lived in Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ, on 21
Jan 1873. He lived in Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ, on 17 Oct 1874. He was
a sawyer on 17 Oct 1874 at Big Bush, Grovetown, MBH, NZ. He was a hopgrower
on 13 Feb 1881. He lived in Grovetown, MBH, NZ, on 6 Dec 1882. He lived
in Blenheim, MBH, NZ, on 28 Oct 1884. He lived at Herbert Street, in
Blenheim, MBH, NZ, before Feb 1901. He died on 13 Feb 1901 residence
Herbert Street at Blenheim, MBH, NZ. (Fatty degeneration of heart). His
body was interred in Omaka Cemetery at Blenheim, MBH, NZ, on 17 Feb 1901.



PS I do have two articles from the NZSG magazine by Philip Creed re John
and family so I don't get confused between families

Was Noel Eadly GIBSON any relation of John GIBSON of Kaituna - same
John GIBSON that arrived in Nelson on the Fifeshire in 1842?
