This family settled and worked in or around Gisborne after 1907.

Any listers out there linked to or with knowledge of David Johnston, born
c1873 married Maggie Watson Fraser, born 28 Feb 1878 in Kilmartin,
Argyllshire, on 2 Aug 1901 in Maxwelltown, Dumfries. David emigrated from
London to Wellington on 18 Oct 1907 on the SS Ionic and I believe that
Maggie emigrated also from London to Wellington on 30 Apr 1909 also on the
SS Ionic. Maggie is shown on the ships' passenger list to be travelling with
4 children, Margaret, William, David and James. Any further information for
family in Scotland appreciated. Les Hewett, Napier.
