The New Zealand Herald puts its death notices online for 14 days, in a
searchable format. Take a look at

The Herald published a notice in today's paper...

"Helen Lindsay (Nee Smyth). Passed away suddenly at home (Selwyn
Heights, Hillsborough), on Thursday 13th May 2010. Aged 78 years. Dearly
loved Mum of Clare. Beloved daughter of the late Arch and Joyce Smyth.
Much loved sister of Janet and David, and sisterinlaw of John and Karen.
Loving Aunty of Elizabeth, Mark, Chris, Anna and Bridged and all their
families. Rest peacefully Helen. Funeral details will be in Tuesday's
and Wednesday's Herald."

Keep an eye on that web site, and the notices for Tuesday and Wednesday
will appear on those days (New Zealand time).
