you don't mention what records you have for Gwendoline.

You may have the following records but as you are looking for answers about
children I will mention them as they are the most likely to give you these
answers:

I note that both records of Gwendoline have her name spelt differently than
you mention with a gap between the e and V looks a bit french to me.

Also the Divorse record usually has a copy of the marriage cert and often
has a photo of one of the parties in the divorce which is a great bonus and
usually mentions any children as do probate records if they are
beneficiaries of the will or an executor. Also the death records usually
give sex and age of any living issue. another possibility is to look at
electoral Roles as often children are listed at the same address on roles
before they move out of home.
