Had a wonderful day on Weds this week, spent hours looking through shipping arrivals to NZ from 1931-1933, never found what we were looking for, but came across a few names which I recognised, and have reported back to Hilton, for Doidge, he is going to check it out.. other names were Stone-Wigg (buried at Eketahuna) and Stuart-Forbes, latter are on my list for a Cemetery Tour at Clareville this coming Sunday, and Tancred..oh yes another name I have been helping folk with, Cranch.. this name was also in Carterton. The person I was with came across the Stone-Wigg as she was the person I took up to Eketahuna to see the grave, and I have more on that story now from Masterton Archives.
I am still on the hunt for Te Teko etc.. this is why I was down in Wellington... wont give up! May take time, but its interesting.. nothing more on it as yet..
