Well actually I recently came across a distant relation of my
brother-in-laws family and the man you seek is in that extended family.
Sydney Reginald Harris born 11th August 1893 died 13th February 1961 who
married Fanny Sutherland in 1913, and who also married Eterina Mary Power in
1921.
Son of Walter Harris and Sarah Jane Wyeth.

The Wyeth name is the link. If you google that name you will find the
website of that family with roots to the Upper Hutt/Lower Hutt and Wairarapa
areas.
