I am a volunteer at some cemeteries in Melbourne and there are many
people who were buried the same day as death. Quite often they died in the
morning and were buried by afternoon. It was quite common in the late
1800's early 1900's. Have some entries which were late 50's being buried
same day. Various causes of death, different religions.
