Hi Bev
I suggest she goes to the Oamaru Museum and in the weekends the Archive
section is open between 1pm and 4pm. They can also help with maps of the
cemetery and details of where people are buried etc. The Oamaru Museum is
on the south west side of Thames Street - the main street.

I have a newbie Gen. friend who has family from the Oamaru area. She willl
be in the area
in a few days time.
Can anyone tell me where the best places for her to go for research.
In Omaru she will bethere on the weekend, intends to vist the cemetary
andwll be in Dunedin on a Mon/Tues.
