One thing you can do when finding incorrect tree information on line (if the person refuses to correct it) is make an exact copy of their page and host it somewhere else and overlay the corrected information (so both the incorrect and correct appear on the page) - that way the people finding the incorrect page via search engines will find you corrected page as well (and if you do it properly they'll find yours first!).

It may also shame the original author into finally doing the corrections.
