Even deaths are sometimes not recorded in NZ BDM register.
If a coronial enquiry had been carried out the death certificate was issued
but sometimes not recorded in BDM register.
I had a death recorded on a burial register but I could not find a death
certificate.
A cousin found a coronial report and amongst the report was a death
certificate.
On contacting NZBDM I was informed that sometimes the court did not register
the death certificate.
NZBDM would not include the death in the BDM register.
