I have added extended families as such:
For my grandchildren, I have taken it back to their other grandparents, and
aunts and uncles and any of their children.....no further. At least this
gives them a basis for further searching. For the other set of
grandparents, I have also listed their parents, and siblings. The same
reason applies.
As far as my siblings, my hubby's siblings and their families, I have
listed the spouses, children, parents of the spouses, and that's it. I
feel that any further researching can be done by the "next generation".
Perhaps leaving the thing unfinished, so to speak, will give just enough to
tickle someone curiosity so that they will pick it up and continue. After
all, half the fun in this thing, at least for me, is in the searching, and
the discovering. Kind of the thrill of the hunt.
One of my primary goals is to record the medical history. I am finding in
some respects, that this is even more difficult than the other documented
information.
I hope to provide a history for others so that there will be a record for
any possible problems medically down the line that may crop up.
