I love these "Memory Makers". We do forget all the good and innocent times.
It's too bad our grandkids didn't experience those great days when we could
all go about town anytime of day or night, knowing we wouldn't be bothered.
When someone who "Smoked" was really looked down upon, that was the worse
thing you could do. How times have changed.
My kids used to watch "Fonzie", do you remember that TV show? "Happy Days"
I think it was, and they would ask me if the "50's" were really like that,
and they wished they could of lived then. Yes, it was indeed a special time
of life for us that are older than dirt.
Off to get my Ice Cream, glad I don't have to use the hand crank freezer
though. There are some good things in todays age that make life easier.
This was a fun subject.
