My first program was Master Genealogiest and its still the one I use it
forced me from the beganing to have good habits as far as recording my
sources or at least knowing I should. It is not an easy program if you are
new to computers and genealogy as I was, but I do not think it is a program
that you out grow either. I would not trade my copy for the world.
