Sept. 13:
James McCUEN, pioneer of western Marin county died at his home at
Fallon. (obit posted to Sonoma co. webpage)

Death Curve Work is Started - Workmen have started on the elimination of
the dangerous Death Curve at Smith's Corners on the highway between
Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. The new line has been surveyed and staked out
through the corner of Henry MEESE'S property.

Sept. 14:
Search for Man Who Robbed Woman, Futile - Patrolman F.B. MOULTON of the
'San Rafael' police department and Patrolman C.L. DOOSE of San Rafael
searched over the entire city of San Rafael and combed the highways
Thursday night in the hope of apprehending the thug who earlier in the
evening choked and robbed Mrs. Lydia SCHROEDER of San Rafael, leaving
her on the roadside unconscious. The woman was found by Frank MARDIS and
was taken to the Cottage hospital by a group of members of the San
Rafael Y.M.I. returning from a meeting in Petaluma. Report from the
hospital Saturday stated that the woman is out of danger.

Final Rites for B. LEVERONI - Bernard LEVERONI, 54, who was well known
in this city, where he had often visited at the home of his late
brother, G.B. LEVERONI, died at Arizona where he had gone in a vain
search for health. He was an Uncle of Vic LEVERONI who resides near
Sonoma, and left other relatives in Petaluma. The late Mr. LEVERONI had
resided in Montana, but had been traveling in the hope that his health
might be benefited. The funeral took place in Sonoma and the interment
was in the Catholic cemetery near that city, beside his late brothers,
Petaluma relatives attended the final rites.

The will of Hans C. JENSEN who died two weeks ago at the Danish home
near San Rafael, was filed in the superior court at San Rafael Friday.
JENSEN bequeathed his furnishings and personal effects to the Danish
Home and all other property to the four children of a niece, Christina
VOGENSEN.
