The Sonoma County Tribune
Healdsburg, Ca.
Aug, 1888 (day unreadable)
Mrs. JAMISON, who was arrested last week on a warrant sworn out by her
husband charging her with insanity and acquitted, was re-arrested
Saturday on the same charge preferred by her lord and master, and to
escape his persecutions, she was prevailed on by her friends to go to
the County Hospital. She is not insane.

The Superior Court has been petitioned for letters of administration in
the estate of William BURRIS, deceased. The petition recites, among
other things, that the value of the estate is $22,460.; that the
decedent died intestate; and that the heirs are Elizabeth BURRIS, the
surviving wife; Luther BURRIS, of Santa Rosa, and David and Jessie
BURRIS of Sonoma, his sons.

The Cloverdale Reveille says; Messrs. John O'HARA, Geo. F. ALLEN, J.D.
CONNOLLY and G.V. DAVIS, members of the Board of Supervisors, paid our
town a visit on Wednesday last for the purpose of examination into the
merits of the petition for a bridge across Russian RIver east of town.
After a thorough examination of the site of the structure and country in
the vicinity, they expressed themselves as being well satisfied that a
bridge at that place was an actual necessity. Our citizens are jubilant
over the prospects of having is much needed improvement in the near
future.
