The funeral services and burial of Claude, son of Thomas HEAVENER, aged 14
years, 2 month and 13 days were held on Sunday. He died on the 27th, leaving
a father, mother, three sisters and two brothers to mourn the loss of one
whom all loved most dearly.

Mr. and Mr. Thos. HEAVENER are reported sick at this writing.

Claude, the 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas HEAVENER, Sr., died at
their home a mile and a half east of town, Saturday morning at 4 o'clock.
Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church Sunday at 2 p. m., by
Rev. DIXON of the M. E. church at Milton, after which the remains were
conveyed to Blue River cemetery for enterment. He leaves a number of
relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
March 2, 1897.
