Red Bluff Daily News
Red Bluff, Tehama County, California
April 5, 1901
What is believed to have been a killing frost was reported from various
parts of the country on the morning of Wednesday.
......................................
At R.H. BLOSSOM's about fifteen miles west of town, it was very cold in the
early morning. At Henleyville ice froze in exposed places. On upper Reeds
creek ice froze in the pools on the creek bottom. In Antelope valley and
Berrendos the frost is believed to have injured the almond, apricot, peach
and pear crops and it is believed to have done the same thing at Bend.

Chet PARKS has given up his position as driver of one of the teams of the
Red Bluff Fire Department, and will go to Round Mountain, Shasta county, to
