CITY NEWS IN BRIEF
News matter intended for these columns should be received at The News

This week is "Food Conservation Week."
And tomorrow night and Saturday night everybody is going to "The Land of
No Regrets."
Frank HENDERSON drove to Centralia Monday.
Hattie RAYL spent Thanksgiving in Olympia.
E. W. FLAGG made a business trip Monday to Chehalis.
Mrs. HANNA was here from Tacoma last week visiting with friends.
Sergeant STEWART was visiting friends in Tenino Saturday and Sunday.
Mrs. McKEE and son, Earl, were shopping in Centralia last Monday.
Wren TYRRELL, while in town last week bought up a few Liberty bonds.
"Jim" McARTHUR spent the weekend visiting in Tacoma and and Seattle.

At the municipal election last Tuesday there was but one ticket
in the field and a very small vote was polled:
