Dr. W.A.Norman returned from Oakland where he had gone to visit his wife. Mrs. Norman is one of two of class of 8 who passed dentistry exam. Now entered the affiliated College of Dentistry.

Mr. Antone Chirghin disposed of household & moved to San Jose. Wife and children have been there for several weeks with her mother, Mrs. Petrinoich, and at which time, a baby girl arrived in the family.

LOCAL ITEMS
John Chinn returned from visiting his old home in England. Just in time to celebrate the advent of a new son & heir born Monday morning.

Mrs. E.Ginocchio and litte grandson, Alphonse Burgin, passed through Ione on the stage to San Francisco.

Charles M. Kelley purchased the Enterprise livery stables of Messrs. Neely & Parker.

W.J.Pryor came from England with John Chinn, who arrived last Monday. Soon as he's settled, will send for his family.

Editor received a note from W.T.Larson, former clerk of the Globe Hotel, has moved from Alpine County to Nevada City, & has purchased the Star Restaurant.

Many people from Jackson went to San Francisco for the Admission Day celebration. Frank Hewitt was "short" so he rode his bike to Stockton, got a boat ride for 50 cents, & returned the same way.

MARRIED: Last Saturday, Mr. John Casey and Miss Ida Robinson, both of Mokelumne Hill were married at the Episcopal Rectory in Jackson by Rev. Wm. Tusonoff.
