Permits for Week Show Spring Construction Has Begun.
MANY HOMES BEING PUT UP
Erection of Houses, Stores, and Repair Work Is Pushing the Total Upward With a Rush - Many Large Structures Expected to Be Started During the Month.

Continued activity in the erection of residences and stores in the District is shown in the report of the building inspector for the last week.

Will Build Handsome Houses.
????k WAGGAMAN, architect, has just completed plans for two handsome residences which he will erect on his own ??????, at 21?? and 2121 Le Roy place. The lots are ?? feet front and 50 feet deep. The houses, which will be specially designed for entertaining, will be of the three-story and basement type, and will contain sixteen rooms and four baths each. They will be built of colonial brick and stone. on the ground floor will be an entrance hall, reception room, drawing room, and dining room. The second and third floors will have three large bedrooms and two baths each. The houses will be ready for the market in the fall, and will sell for $25,000 each.
