Abb Evans of Heiskell Station, died at 5:25 p.m. Thursday at his home. He was 79. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Surviving wife, Mrs. E. Evans; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Golden of Chattanooga, Mrs. R. L. Kennedy of Heiskell Station, Mrs. J.A. Bailey of Powell's Station; four sons, J.E. Evans of Ludlow, Ky., W.E. Evans of Roanoke, Va., S.A. Evans of Heiskell Station, and C.B Evans of Powell's Station. Funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at the home, the Rev. Mr. Denton officiating. Burial at Bishopville.
