Abstract.
Welder Killed in Gas Explosion.
Bakersfield.
Robert Merton Walters, about 25, was killed
instantly by a sewer gas explosion yesterday
at the north of the river sanitation district
sewage processing farm, north of here. Ohters
injured: Walter Shallock & Henry Barbero. All
of Bakersfield. Walters wife died a week ago;
he leaves two small children.
