I am new to this list. I have been searching for my great grandparents, George and Mary (Morgan) Gallaudet. George was a carriage painter in the Mt Vernon area in 1870 and lived in a hotel there which was run by a Benjamin Wallace. I don't know where George met Mary but they lived in Brooklyn and raised (as far as I know) 5 sons, George(1894-1922) married Elizabeth Meagher, May 15, 1917, Paul no dates, Henry, no dates but moved to Chicago Illinios, Alfred, 8/29/1900-? married to Katherine Mary Jedrlinic,(b: 8/25/1905-?). There was another son but his name is unknown ro me. I am looking for any Gallaudet family member to discuss genealogy of my family because family information is hard to find.
