In chasing my PIPER family I have an old letter that tells me that Harold Gilbert PIPER attended Stevens Institute of Technology in NJ and then went on to Norwich College in Vermont where he graduated in civil engineering in 1925. Apparently he then went to work in his father's business. His father lived in NYC so I guess that his business was located there as well. The father's name is possibly Samuel PIPER or John M PIPER.
Can any lister suggest where I can locate more information taking into account personal visits to the area are out the question (it would be nice, but from Australia, difficult!)
