I have already sent a reply to Marilyn on this query. But for the information
of others out there researching the Arnold's Cove Area
I recently purchased a book titled " Arnolds Cove - A Community History"
written by Ken A Tulk Published by Town of Arnold's Cove, Printed by Robinson
Blackmore, St. John's. This is a must have for anyone researching Arnolds
Cove & surrounding area. I even found a few names from my hometown of
Bellevue through marriages to people of Arnolds Cove. It gives family
histories & cemetry inscriptions for Arnolds Cove & some resettled
communities around it. Some communities listed are: Bar Haven, Butter Cove,
Brookside, Bruley, Davis Cove, Harbour Buffett, Haystack, Kingwell,
Monkstown, Paradise, Port Ann, St. Jacques, Fortune Bay, Tack's Beach,
Spencer's Cove, Woody Island.
The Book costs $19.97 and the copy I have was distributed by H.H. Marshall of
St. John's.
