Vera Short forwarded your request about your school project to a genealogy
list I am on. This is a good site with some info about resettlement in the
Placentia Bay area. My grandmother came from Merasheen and although she was
gone form there before resettlement in the 1960s, many of her cousins
experienced it. Not all of the links are up and running yet but it still a
