You "more senior" listers out there may remember an old novelty song titled
"I'm My Own Grandpa".
about a strange intermarriage within in a family and the various
relationships that resulted. By the way, does anyone have the words?

Well' I've come across a strange pairing in a distant (very distant, thank
God) branch of my tree, which occured around 1900.

Per a note in the church records, it seems that the guy married his
grandfather's sister. I wonder if this was a "shotgun" wedding. <grin>

Any other odd matings out there?
