Subject: [NFLD-LAB] Question re: Old Properties, Early Residents St. John's
Date: Sat, 04 Nov 2000 17:03:21 -0400
Hi all,
I've been looking at the lists for the Old Properties, Early Residents,
St. John's 1780-1781.
Can anyone tell me what the number to the right of a person's name
represents? Is it the number of days they are supposed to work on the
road improvements, or the amount of money they are expected to
contribute, or (least likely, I think) the number in their family? I
know it says "The following rates are necessary..." at the beginning of
the list, so my money is on amount of money.
Regards,
Janice Fralic-Brown
