Subject: [NFLD-LAB] Ask YOUR Member of Parliament for Census Release Support NOW!!!!
Date: Wed, 2 Jan 2002 15:11:36 -0500

The Hon. George Baker
Gerry Byrne
Bill Matthews
have been elected to serve YOU as THEIR constituents and to listen
to YOUR requests -- I know that many in Newfoundland work on
family history research, augmented by the online census records.

However, the above three Members of Parliament have never replied
re census support since April 1999 - almost three years ago.

I know the Party tells them only special hand-outs may be used --
these have not even been used as a form of reply.

To top it off, Brian Tobin, the NEW kid on the block, disapproved
of the Expert Panel report (your $$$$ helped to pay for that). He
is now spending more of our $$$ on Town Hall meetings.

Check http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Score5.htm#NF

I was assured many in Newfoundland and Labrador worked on
family history -- your Member of Parliament is there to serve YOU,
and we seek support for Senator Lorna Milne's S-12 Bill.

Possibly the Member of Parliament needs the request in writing
from someone within the Newfoundland-Labrador province.

Muriel M. Davidson
Co-Chair, Canada Census Committee
