DAWE, Agnes Marie - Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 in the presence of her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Agnes Marie Dawe, of Upper Gullies, age 75. Predeceased by husband Frank on May 24, 1995, parents William Frances and Violet Dawe, and sister Mary Taylor. Leaving to mourn her sad loss are her four sons: Gerald, Lloyd (Sharon), Gary (Josephine) and Bruce (Marie); four daughters: Janette (Lawrence), Goldie, Brenda and Cindy (Glenn); two brothers: Frances and Ronnie (Sandra); two sisters: Gertrude (Joseph) and Kathleen in Ontario; three sisters-in-law: Laura (Ed), Mame (Joe) and Joyce Petten; a dear family friend, Maurice; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Resting at The James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral service on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter`s Church, Upper Gullies. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery. NEWMAN, Nora (Pearce) - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home on Feb. 14 in her 88th year. Predeceased by husband Gus, son-in-law Boyde Clancey, granddaughter Melissa Mullett and step-granddaughter Heather Burt.
