EARLE - Trevor, Tammy (Power) and big brother Alex are elated to announce the birth of Sarah Colleen who was born at the Women's Health Centre on March 29, 2004, weighing 8 lbs. 11 ozs. Sarah is welcomed by many relatives and friends, including grandparents Annetta Power (the late George Power) and William and Mable Earle. A special thank you to Drs. Marie O'Dea, Pat Roche, and Erica Howse for excellent pre-natal care, and to the staff of 5NB, especially Corinne Bursey, for superb care during Tammy and Sarah's hospital stay. - 04/10/04


EARLES - Jeff, Sharon and big brother Joshua are thrilled to announce the new addition to their family. Baby girl Lauren Jessie was born March 26, 2004 at the W.H.C. of St. John's, weighing 8 lbs. 101/2 oz. Proud grandparents are Bill and Shirley Earles of St. John's and Eli and Velma Baker of Goobies. Also welcoming Lauren is a large circle of family and friends. Many thanks go out to the nurses of the P.H.C.S. and the M.F.A.U., especially Donna and Connie. Many thanks also to the nurses and doctors of the caseroom and the nurses of 5NB for their wonderful care. We would also like to extend a great big thank you to Dr. Crane and her staff for exceptional care during this pregnancy and a joyous delivery. Mommy would also like to thank daddy and the many family and friends who were very supportive and helped out during her pregnancy. We thank God for our "Little Princess". - 04/10/04

REID - Rodger and Denise are thrilled to announce the arrival of their second little princess - Rebecca Emily. A little sister for Megan. Rebecca was born at the WHC on January 24, 2004, weighing 5 lbs. 10 ozs. Proud grandparents are James and Louise Reid, Louis Jennings and Maxine Osmond-Feltham. Thank-you to all the nursing and medical staff in the Caseroom and 5NB and another special thank-you to Dr. Lacelle for her special care of Mommy and baby. - 04/10/04


VICKERS/FRED - Corinne & Fred are thrilled to announce the early and safe arrival of their precious son. Christopher Harold was born Saturday, February 28, 2004, 3:36 a.m. at Toronto East General Hospital, weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces. Proud grandparents are Chris & Florence Vickers of Witless Bay and Bonadie & Jasmine Fred of Jamaica Queens, New York. - 04/10/04


CAREW - Michelle and Mike wish to announce that Maggie Elizabeth has arrived. She was born on April 1, 2004, at 4:37 a.m. Anna, age 5, and Alexander, age 3, are thrilled to have a baby sister. Her grandparents, Ray and Evelyn Walsh, and Ann and Albert Carew, have been a tremendous help. Maggie shares her name with her great-grandmother, Maggie Noonan in Bay de Verde. Love comes also from her great-great-aunt, Sister Theresa Keys. Michelle and Mike thank all their family and friends who were kind enough to call, send along gifts, visit, babysit, etc. Your support is never taken for granted. STOCKLEY - Ken and Lynn (nee Chaplin) are excited to announce the arrival of their first child, a girl, Monika Megan. Monika was born at the Women's Health Centre, HSC on March 20, 2004 at 4:29 a.m., weighing in at 7 pounds 71/2 ounces. Celebrating Monika's arrival are second time grandparents Neil and Olga Chaplin of Mount Pearl and fourth time grandparents Ken and Ruby Stockley of Chamberlains. Aunts Dawn, Christa, Linda, and Colleen, Uncles Christopher and Wayne, Cousins Noah, Jessica, Cody, and Kaitlyn welcome Monika with much love. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Karl Misik, Dr. Donald Tennent, Dr. Heidi Kravitz for their exceptional pre-term care, and to Dr. Drover and his caseroom team for a safe delivery. To nurses Paula, Loretta, Heather, and Eleanor for all of their help during our stay in hospital.
