ADAMS, Oswald (Os) - Passed away on August 19, 2004 at Newton Regency Care Home, Surrey, BC. He was predeceased by his wife, Jo, three years earlier. Survived by daughters; Joan Feltham (Ottawa), Sherrill Mitton (Al), Surrey, BC; four grandchildren; Terry Feltham (Ottawa), Bev McCullough, Steve Mitton (Loree), Surrey; Kim Janzen (Wes), Langley, BC; six great-grandchildren: Samantha McCullough, Kristina, Johnny, Christopher Janzen and, Amanda and Emily Mitton; and two sisters, Maureen Butler, (St. John's, Nfld) and Joyce Guild (California). The memorial service was August 21, 2004 at Royal Heights Baptist Church, Delta, BC. HANN, Mary - Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on August 30, 2004 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her brothers: Thomas, James and Anthony. Sisters: Anne, Catherine (Monroe), and Laura (Sampson). Mary proudly served as housekeeper for Monsignor Maher at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia, as well as St. Joseph's, St. John's. She also proudly served as Housekeeper for Monsignor McGettigan and Monsignor O'Keefe at Corpus Christi Parish in Kilbride. Leaving to mourn her nephew: James Hann and wife: Theresa in Placentia; nephew: James Sampson and wife Lynn in Mississauga, Ontario; niece: Charlene Sampson (Cerrone) and husband Martin of Oshawa, Ontario; as well as many nieces and nephews living in the New York City area. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 2 at Sacred Heart Parish, Placentia. Interment to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fox Harbour. SPARKES, Jason Raymond - Passed away suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, Jason Raymond Sparkes, age 29 years. Leaving to mourn his sad loss loving and devoted wife Tamara (nee Roche); special son, Jordan who will miss Dad with all his heart; also will be sadly missed by his mother Georgie Andrews; father: Ray Sparkes (wife Dianne); sisters: Gina Hall (Sean), North Carolina and Gillian Sparkes (Scott), Florida; mother-in-law: Bernadette Corcoran; aunts and uncles: Ed and Peggy Andrews, Jean and Chulk Keats, Sandra and Steve Froggett, Gerry and Margie Sparkes, Cec and Cheryl Cooper, Cathy and John Dinn; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
