Thank you for this information. It helps me date the photo. The location of
the studio was difficult to decipher, but after some careful viewing, it
appears to be Bay Roberts. The word `Roberts' is clear enough. He must also
have had a studio there.

My wife's grandmother was from Bay Roberts, or nearby, so the folks in the
photo may be family. My wife's grandmother was Emmeline SNOW. We have
substantial information on her after her marriage in Cape Breton, but
nothing much on her family except that her parents were John Edward SNOW
and Annie ?.
