BOLAND, Edward - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on October 1st, 2004, Edward Boland, aged 79 years of St. John's. Son of the late Michael & Mabel (Spry) Boland. Predeceased by his wife Gertrude, brother James, sisters Cecilia Doyle, Alice Hollett and Catherine Doyle. Leaving to mourn are his children: Leo (Maggie) of Avondale, Elizabeth Goldsworthy (Ross) of Calgary, Edward (Philomena), Joan Young (Derrick), Frank (Shirley), Frances Dollimont, all of St. John's, Pat (Daphne) of Mount Pearl, Francine Abbott (Dennis), Musgrave Hr., Cathy Goodland (Gerard), Julia Boland of Dartmouth, N.S. and Patricia Boland of C.B.S. Also leaving to mourn, his brother Leo (Joyce) of Halifax; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2, from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Sunday, October 3, from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, October 4, 2004 from St. Ter!

KENNEDY, Madeline (nee Constantine) - Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Friday, 1 October, 2004, Madeline Kennedy of St. John's, aged 79. Predeceased by husband Leonard Caul in 1957; husband Charles Kennedy in 1991 and brother Thomas Constantine. Left with fond and loving memories her sons: Tony Caul (wife Judy), Mount Pearl and Terry Kennedy of St. John's; her adored granddaughter Andrea Caul (fiance Liam McNamara), St. John's; her sisters: Carmel Mullins (Pat) and Doreen Chubbs (Gordon), St. John's; her sister-in-law Christine Constantine, St. John's, and a large circle of family and friends. PENDER, (nee Baggs), Laura Victoria - Passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Friday, October 1, 2004 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Laura Victoria Pender in her 69th year. Leaving to mourn her husband James; three daughters: Valerie (Mrs. John Thriepland) of Montreal, Lorraine (Dave Gosse) of St. John's and Jamie Pender of Ontario; four special grandchildren: Paul, Laura, Zachary and Tyler; two sisters: Hazel Burton of St. John's and Lorraine Farrell of Indiana; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. REID, Kathleen Mary - Passed suddenly away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on October 1, 2004, Kathleen Mary Reid, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Fred Reid; sister Evelyn and brother Patrick. Predeceased by her husband Joseph and her son William.
