ASH, Jeffrey Harold - Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, January 15, 2005, Jeffrey Harold Ash of Victoria, formerly of Churchill Falls, age 26 years. Predeceased by mother Linda. Leaving to mourn father Harold, sister Lindsey (Carson) Dean, Carbonear; special caregivers Bernice and Paul Mercer, Victoria; a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 19. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. AUCHINLECK, Muriel (nee Sellars) - Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 17, 2005 at Masonic Park Nursing Home in the presence of her loving family, Muriel Auchinleck, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband Claude in 1979; sons: Randolf in 1984 and Wallace in 1988; daughter: Doreen in 1994; daughter-in-law: Peg Auchinleck; son-in-law: Lester Hillier; sisters: Ruby and Betty; brothers: Randolf and Munden. Leaving to mourn son: Graham (Jean), Torbay; two daughters: Bernice Browne (Jim), Paradise and Daphne Power (Paul), St. John's; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Laura Auchinleck; sister-in-law: Viola Bailey; all her friends at Masonic Park. MONSTER, Derek William - Passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Edmonton, Alberta, on January 7, 2005. Past Master of L.O.L. #62, Freshwater. Former active member of various church boards and Men's Fellowship Club, Freshwater. Best known for his participation in the cod fishery, Conception Bay. Predeceased by parents: Walter and Sarah; sisters: Dora, Dorothy, Madeline, Florence and Mary.
