BARRETT, Cyril Rex (Ted) - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, on June 1, 2005, age 84 years. Member of Clift Masonic Lodge, Bell Island. Predeceased by his wife Elsie (1990); son-in-law John Peters (1998). Left to mourn with loving memories daughter Lorraine Peters (Frank Delaney), Mount Pearl; sons: Gerald (Dorothy), Foxtrap, Cyril Jr. (Regina), Paradise; three brothers: Ken, Calvin and Clayton; one sister, Stella Batten; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; special friends: Lois and Walter Vokey, Perry Young, Rosemarie Hickman; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Cyprian's Church. CRAWFORD, Mabel (Rogers) - Passed away peacefully June 1, 2005 at the L.A. Miller Centre (Palliative Care Unit). Mabel was predeceased by her husband Alexander (Sandy); parents, Jane and Levi Rogers; sisters: Priscilla, Stella, Louise and Phyllis; brothers: Chesley and Harold. Mabel will be forever missed and remembered by her son Jim (Bonnie); granddaughters: Lynn FitzGerald (Sean), Joanne MacDonald (David); grandson Sandy (Susan); sisters: Violet Parsons and Joan Phillips; brother Max and sisters-in-law: Ivy and Marjorie Rogers; her great-grandchildren: Maggie, Alex, Victoria and Spencer FitzGerald and Grace and Emily MacDonald, were her pride and joy. The last few days were made much easier by the superb care provided by the Palliative Care Unit, the staff at the ER Department of the Health Sciences Centre and Dr. V. Patel. FINN, Francis Joseph - (Retired CN Rail), Sept. 26th, 1929 - June 1st, 2005. Resting eternally with God after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by his father Thomas V. Finn. Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Center surrounded by his most treasured possession - his family. Grieving his loss and remembering a lifetime of his perpetual love are his wife of 49 years, Catherine (Oliver); one son Thomas V. Finn (Pamela); three daughters: Cathie Collins, Jacqueline Cooper (Gordon) and Dana Marie Mackey (Thomas); seven grandsons: Shane and Chris Collins, Tyler and Parker Cooper, Christian and Ethan Mackey and Daniel Francis Finn; only granddaughter, Stephanie Collins and Stephanie's best friend, who was like a granddaughter to him, Lisa Stanley. Predeceased by her husband Alex, April 14, 1999; daughter Muriel; son Stephen and infant son Paul.
