Michele I highly recommend you take the night ferry so you are then driving
across the island in daylight. The moose problem this year seems to be
worse than ever & it is not just the dusk/dawn time frame. Some people I
know hit a moose around 1:00 a.m. near Clarenville a couple of weeks ago -
their van was totalled & they only hit a young female. It has gotten so bad
the government has erected more signs warning everyone to be careful.
