Does this article that appeared yesterday refer to the Bell Island [Belle
Isle] founded by Gregory Normore or another island?

"PUBLIC NOTICE: Repeated trespassers having been committed on the
Property of the Subscriber on Little Belleisle, in Conception Bay; to
prevent the like depredations in future, he hereby informs the Public by
what authority he claims and entire right thereto first, by a Deed of
Couveyance of one Quarter part thereof from Charles MERCER, bearing date the
24 August 1805; secondly, by a Lease of one Half thereof from John BUTLER,
bearing date the 10th day of October, 1807; and lastly by a Lease of the
remaining Quarter, from George GARLAND, Esq. bearing date the 1st day of
May, 1808; the sole Proprietors, as will appear by the following Grant: -
