Christine--it sounds like someone was thinking of NARA in Waltham. If you
find your folks on the census, see what year they arrived, and what year they
became naturalized (women don't count). NARA can take that naturalization
info and track your date of arrival.

That is where I am. Now I just have to find the name of the ship to go
farther. 10-1-1888 NY, NY.
