I am reposting this query . Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
I am looking for a descendant of George Albert Raines. Mr Raines
served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment in WW1. Details about his
service is shown below. If you are a descendant, or know of someone
who is a descendant, please contact me.

Aug. 20, 1915; Evacuated from Suvla, Oct. 14, 1915; Invalided to
England, July 6, 1916; Attached to Depot, Ayr, Aug. 15, 1916; British
Expeditionary Force, Oct. 24, 1916; Rejoined Battalion, Nov. 18, 1916;
Evacuated to Hospital, Jan. 8, 1918; Rejoined Battalion, March 18,
1918; Embarked for Newfoundland, furlough, July 27, 1918; Demobilized,
St. John's, Feb. 15, 1919.
