I agree Random Passage should give a much better picture of NF life in the
mid 19th century than The Shipping News. It has already been shown on Irish
TV and had a rocky reception. I heard one Irish critic interviewed on St
John's radio and the biggest problem he seemed to have with it was that the
presentation of the weather was not realistic.
He said NF would have to have the world's worst climate for it to be so bad.
Well yeah!
