Carl I never know there is archival material, such as newpaper information
etc. I even found a lithograph depicting the meeting of both parties on
that tragic December 1883 day. Where did you hear of Mildred Howard writing
a book? I was only told by provincial archivist at PANL in 1989 about the
material they had, funny he never knew of such a book......neither did the
Conception Bay North school that had my nephew's class do a report on it!
I wouldn't mind seeing a different point of view in print.
