you betcha i'm interested in the browns.my mom married a fred brown in 1946
in toronto ontario.both my parents were born in newfoundland(my mother was
a kavanaugh from st. john's around southside and black head rd. she worked
for the harvey and brown biscuit co. if anyone sees this a nd also woked
there or had relatives that did, i'd like to get some info on it. my
grandparents(this has been verified)robert brown and edith brown(nee
harding).my grandfather was in ww1 and ww11 as a merchant marine.raised in
the trinity bay and port union area. members of the salvation army and i
think robert was a sail maker(not sure of that)their children were mary
anne,gord,pearl,fred and art.fred was or still can be my father.was in ww11
and korean war.was in the canadian engineers regiment in korea.somthing to
do with the vehicle or transportation part of it.last location of fred and
gord and mary anne was in ontario for the bouys and alberta for mary
anne.(since deceased)(1994)
if you think this may clear a few things up,please contact me thru my
e-mail.via ancestory contacts. please let me know one way or the other. so
the beats goes on.
