Hi, Could you tell me if you have anymore information on BRANSFIELDS and
ships owned anywhere? I am researching that surname and have it traced back to a
Capt. John Bransfield. I am trying to find out who his father was. I have
death information somewhere on him and know he was a Capt. I am very curious
to know if Richard Bransfield Jr. was his father perhaps. My Bransfields are
said to be from Carbonear.

Below is the Complete list of those Captains who registered the a vessel
named INDUSTRY, in what year and with whom. Awhile back Len Seymour did a
search for the vessel and found some information but only post 1825, as I
asked only for Capt. John Kennedy Industry 1830046. Maybe there is
earlier Owner Information and maybe Len can check for us. You can judge
that in the year 1820 alone there were likely 3 vessels by the name
