Hi Caren,

I sure don't have all of the records, but what I do have is as follows.
The disaster, I think was May 25, 1884 not 1883, as I have 2 babies born
shortly after this disaster.

Please note I stand to be corrected on any of the following but hope I have
it right.


John Cooper Lewis Age 37
I have John marrying Julia Ann Evans June 14, 1871. This couples last child
was born just after the disaster on June 20, 1884.
John's parents were: John Cooper Luce b. December 8, 1809 and Eliza Newell.
They married November 16, 1830 and had 9 children.

William John Wheeler Age 36 - I don't have any information here

Frederick LeShane Age 36 - I have lots of LeShanes but don't have Frederick

Willis LeShane Age 32 and Philemon LeShane Age 30 {see also Noah listed
below}
Willis and Philemon are sons of James LeShane/Shano and Susannah Louis/Lewis

Azariah Lewis Age 28
Azariah is the son of Edward Louis/Luce and Catherine Morris. Azariah m.
Elizabeth Jane LeShane/Shano. Their daughter, Catherine Louise was b.
November 4, 1884.

Thomas Garland Age 26
Possibly m. to Druscilla. Don't have his birth or parents

Noah LeShane Age 26
Noah LeShane is another son of James LeShane/Shano and Susannah Louis/Lewis

Eli Reed Age 24 - I have no information re Eli Reed.

Eli Lewis Age 21
Eli was b. January 27, 1864. Parents: Simeon Louis/Lewis and Martha
Diamond

John Cummings Age 20 - No information

Peter Diamond Age 20 - No information

Peter Snelgrove Age 20
Parents: Jacob Snelgrove and Susannah Louis/Lewis
