DEATHS
REVALLS, Thomas Augustus Scarborough, Ontario 1944 -
2004 It is with great sadness that the family of the late
Thomas Revalls announce his passing on Friday, June 25, 2004. He leaves
to mourn his wife Eileen (nee Hynes), sons: Errol and Monty,
granddaughter Chelsea. Loving son of Marion and the late Augustus.
Brothers: Harold (Louise), Joseph and Eugene (Lesley-Ann). Sisters:
Sylvia (Walter), Alice (Ford), Hilda (Wayne) and Jacqueline (Basil).
Predeceased by his father Augustus and brother James. Friends visited
Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd. between Eglington and St. Claire
Ave. E. Monday and Tuesday. The funeral service will be held Wednesday
June 30, 2004 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 3216 Lawrence Ave. E. at
2:30 p.m. Interment: Pinehill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy,
flowers are graciously accepted.
PIKE, Robert M. Lewisporte Passed peacefully away
after a lengthy illness, on June 15th, 2004 in his 87th year, Robert M.
Pike of Lewisporte, NL. Predeceased by his parents, Robert J. and Kate;
brothers: Alfred, Rodney and Willie; sisters: Nora Porter and Myrtle
Bailey; granddaughter, Connie Pike. Leaving to mourn with precious
memories are his wife of 60 years, Eliza; his children: Ruth (Clarence
Burton), Baie Verte; Elmo (Evelyn), Kippens; Rosalind (Gary Anderson),
Salisbury, NB; Roberta (Tyrone Ball) Pacquet; Robert (Rona), Mainland;
Peter (Jo) Labrador City; Roxanne, Longueuil, PQ; eleven grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral service took
place on Friday, June 18th, at 3:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army
Citadel, Lewisporte, interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Stanhope.
Officiating Clergy, Pastor William Burton and Pastor Tyrone Ball. As
expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation,
the Children's Wish Foundation or to the South and Central Health
Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
WIGHT, Gregory Wilson Rocky Harbour December 5, 1961 -
June 27, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family of
the late Gregory Wilson Wight announce his passing on June 27th, 2004 in
Slave Lake, Alberta in his 42nd year. He will be sadly missed by his
son Steven Creamer, of Hamilton, Ontario, father Howard of Rocky
Harbour, sisters: Monica Hewlin (Hector), Rocky Harbour, Valerie Payne
(Clifford), High Prairie, Alberta, Christine Wight (Phillip Mayor),
Slave Lake, Alberta, brothers: Collin (Marlene), Rocky Harbour, Scott
(Tracey), Lower Sackville, NS and the mother of his son, Christine
Creamer of Hamilton, Ontario. Also a large circle of relatives and
friends, nieces and nephews, cousins and uncles. He was predeceased by
his mother Viola Wight. Visitation will take place Wednesday, June
30th, from the United Church, Rocky Harbour where also funeral services
will take place on Thursday, July 1st, 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Melendy
officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot in the United
Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral
Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake. "Forever In Our Hearts"
REID (READ), Stanley Edgar Norris Point August 23, 1914
- June 28, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family
of the late Stanley Edgar Reid (Read) announce his passing on Monday,
June 28th, 2004 at Bonne Bay Health Center in his 89th year. He was the
son of the late Douglas Allan and Sennett (Clark) Read. He was a member
of the Loyal Orange Lodge, Norris Point. He will be sadly missed by his
loving wife of nearly 69 years Alma (nee Laing); his son Philip
(Charlene) of Rothesay, N.B.; daughters: Doreen (Howard) Parsons and
Leona, both of Norris Point; two loving grandchildren: Philip Reid of
N.B. and Angela Parsons (Brian Brown) of Pasadena; one brother Wallace
Reid; sisters-in-law: Violet Reid, Harriett Reid, Luella Hale, Madeline
Laing and one brother-in-law Edward Laing, all of Norris Point. Also a
large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his
daughters Jennie and Clarice, parents, brothers Philip, Augustus, Emery,
Francis, Victor, William and Gordon; sisters Gertrude and Mary.
Visitation will take place from The Church of the Good Shephard in
Norris Point today Tuesday, where also funeral service will take place
on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Olsson officiating. Interment to
follow at the family plot. By request of the family in lieu of flowers
donations may be made to The Church of the Good Shephard or ones
choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home, 63
Northmain Street, Deer Lake. "To live in the hearts of those we

BROTHERS (nee: Atkinson), Annie Frances Corner Brook, NL
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie
Brothers at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 90th year. Annie
was a life long member of the Catholic Women's League. She will be
missed by numerous nieces, nephews, her many friends and staff at the
Lohnes Complex, very special friends Mary and Bill Brothers, Priscilla
Boutcher and Joyce Pollis, along with many other friends and relatives.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Emmaline Atkinson, husband
John in 1972, four sisters and seven brothers. Friends may visit
Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Tuesday between 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 30th at
10:30 a.m. from Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue, with
Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Mass cards are available at Most
Holy Redeemer Cathedral.
